Watch one program on one tuner

Sci-Atl cablecard installs with the toshiba Regza line of tvs that Michael and I currently own. Cableguy, I learned a lot from your various posts, thankyou. Will we be able to then control the tv channels using the Panasonic tv remote. Will there be a payoff in picture quality. It will see and record everything your tv can. By chance you can also insert a cablecard into the sony hdtv cables. You need two tuners to watch one program on one tuner and record the other program on the second tuner. Thats not a limitation of the cablecard itself. I cant speak for other areas though. I cant answer that quesiton though.
