Exmormon people act like we Mormons are prudes. Look, we’re not prudes. We have commandments because they keep us safe and make our lives better. How much freedom do you have when you have a child or multiple children with someone you don’t love? Or when you have to tell a prospective spouse that you have an STD due to your irresponsibility? exmormon people know darn well why we believe in chastity and have probably dealt with the downfalls of not living it. It’s a real light bulb moment when you realize that commandments actually bring you more freedom rather than less.
