It’s Not About Them

I have always been someone who really appreciates the structure and routine offered my being involved in organized religion. However, I also have a quite independent spirit and have always been able to see the hypocrisy that is often found as well. I have had to teach myself to let other people worry about themselves and take my spirituality for a more personal journey. I like having church to go to and for my kids to experience, so I have to let myself turn my eye to the things that I don’t like and let my walk be a more personal one.
