Causes of Mold and How to Get Rid of It

Mold can be deadly to a garden.  It can destroy the buds, blossoms, leaves, and fruit of any plant. It is a fungi that grows in dark and damp places.  Gardens that are shady and temperatures changes can cause mold to grow.  To get rid of the mold there are several things that can be done.  Trimming trees and overhanging plants and allowing sunlight in the garden area will help to kill off mold. Removing dead plants and changing out the mulch around plants is a good way of getting rid of mold.  Removing and burning moldy plants will help keep the mold out of gardens.
