What Is Great About A Deck Awning?

I have had so many people ask me this question when I was putting in our deck awning. I told them for years, that my deck and home wasn’t complete because I hadn’t had a deck awning that surrounded my home. They thought I was crazy that I thought that it wasn’t finished. But, I have to say it was nice to be right in this instance. They asked me why deck awnings were so important and I told them that it was because when you go out into the sun you always have to wear sunglasses and plus you are wide open to mother nature and her curses. They didn’t believe me until we had all the rainstorms DURING our barbecues when we all moved to my home UNDER our deck awning.
