I’ve taken over from my mother in the kitchen. My duty is to ensure everyone is fed. I couldn’t say no to my mother as she’s been made feeble by a fall. One thing I observed is that she’s never had to buy any new cookware all this time. I’ve often wondered what sets the best cookware sets apart from all the others. I suppose extreme durability is one element. My mother said she found copper pans “too fussy” to employ. She instructed me how to “season” a cast iron pan so that it’d be nonstick like the ones she owns. She used to stay in Asia and acquired everything she knows about cooking there.
