A Different Kind of Weight Loss Surgery

My sister is a beautiful person, but has a major health problem.  She is morbidly obese, and has tried countless weight loss programs, with no lasting results.  Her last hope was the sleeve gastrectomy weight loss surgery.  This is typically for patients who are not candidates for traditional bariatric surgery due to weighing too much.  The Doctor said this was a first stage surgery where most of her stomach would be removed, requiring a one day stay in the hospital.  He said monitor what happens after this surgery.  My Sister had the surgery a week ago, and so far, she has had no complications.  I will be right by her side the whole way.
