Though we sometimes wish it wasn’t so, world and local news change at least daily, if not minute by minute. Online news is no different, so writers in this field need a way to easily update stories that are already published online. This can be accomplished using an RSS web feed. An article or post can be updated and the revision published in real time, while it is syndicated and immediately made available to be read using a wide variety of programs. This allows the writer to keep up with new developments in a story and post it to the reader without delay.
