The newest thing in backpacking is ultralight backpacking. If you’ve ever gone on a proper hike before, you know that backpacking can be a real drag. You need to cart the tent, your food, your water, your sleeping back and everything else you could possibly imagine up the side of a mountain. There’s a reason they say you have everything but the kitchen sink. However, when I saw this site, it was a breath of fresh air. They suggest packing yourself a bag with just 15 pounds worth of gear and they say that that’s all you’ll need. It’s amazing, but it’s true. You can pack a bag lighter than many school children’s bags and still have what you need. Check the site for info.

Helping hand to mates
November 14th, 2009 — Travel
If you are looking for car hire just go online to find them. A couple of mates of mine have been organizing a trip and it has been interesting to watch them struggle through the plans as they are not very technologically literate. Well, the planning side of it was ok, the booking side and research side they had a hard time with. I had to show my mates the best sites to look at, but eventually I managed to get them to book all their own stuff online and actually get the best deals. From now on they won’t need my help thank goodness.
Getting a great deal on Paso Robles hotels
November 11th, 2009 — Travel
My husband and I always wanted to take the kids out West. Thanks to the Internet, I was able to find some great deals on Paso Robles hotels. The wine country was truly a favorite for us. It was gorgeous weather and interesting to visit as well. The Paso Robles hotels were very luxurious and service was exceptional. The food and wine were immensely enjoyed on our entire vacation. The children loved exploring the countryside. Their favorite was panning for gold not too far from our hotels. I had always wanted to do that too and it was an activity we all enjoyed together.

NFL Rivalries
October 18th, 2009 — Travel
As a longtime Miami Dolphins fan, I can vividly remember many rivalry games between my team and the Buffalo Bills. Whether it was Griese or Marino or anyone else at my team’s helm, these contests always brought out the best of competitive fire between both teams. I have travelled to Buffalo many times and stayed at any one of the Buffalo NY hotels. It’s a great “mini getaway” during the fall and winter months. Everyone has a different picture of the “perfect vacation” but I can honestly tell you, these trips are some of my most favorite times. A great game between two great cities!
