You may be aware of the old saying that nothing in life is free, but the ever increasing availability of free mp3 music downloads may be an exception to that rule. It used to be that music fans had to use P2P file sharing networks to illegally download their favorite tunes, but thankfully, there are now many websites that offer songs totally free and totally legal.

It seems that the big music companies and record labels have changed their tune, so to speak, and have given in to the inevitable.  Many have joined the bandwagon and now offer free mp3 music downloads under a different business model.  Many artists and music companies now market their songs for the biggest exposure impact so that they can join in advertising revenues and licensing agreements with various joint venture opportunities.
